ANDEAN COFFEE AND THE 911 HOPE HOUSE
Did you know that 84% of children in Colombia, South America are born to single mothers? This lack of a loving father contributes to nearly every problem we see in Colombian society. This includes drug abuse and trafficking, homelessness, a culture of hitmen and violence, prostitution, and the sexual abuse of women and children. The children of these vulnerable mothers are often removed from their home and placed in foster care, thus destroying the family and leaving the mother without hope.
Although this problem has been decades in the making, we believe that God's transformative love can rescue future generations and stop this cycle of hopelessness and vulnerability.
WHAT IS THE 911 HOPE HOUSE?
The 911 Hope House is an innovative pioneer program in Medellin, Colombia in which the lives of women and children are transformed through full-time spiritual and psychological care, life skills training, education and skill development over a period of two years...all while keeping the family together!
